This week, the supervisors addressed a February report from the Grand Jury calling for the Coroner’s Office building to be “replaced as soon as possible” due to health and safety issues. Among other concerns, the report stated the nearly 30-year-old facility has an inadequate ventilation system that could circulate diseases. The supervisors said they will allocate money to update the ventilation and want further study into how to pay for an entirely new building.
