Downtown Santa Barbara will be getting some attention from SoCal Edison on Monday night through Tuesday morning as crews replace two key underground circuit switches. Described as “a very complex job in our world,” Edison’s David Song says work will be primarily at Canon Perdido Street at State and Chapala starting at 8 p.m. on June 1. An outage is anticipated to begin at 10 p.m., and the power company hopes to restart service by 6 a.m. on Tuesday. More information on Project Number 7 can be found at SCE.com.
