Fray Crease and her husband, Adam Strachan, decided a trip to Uruguay was just the thing to celebrate her 50th birthday last month. While visiting the city of Punta del Este, they stopped to take a photo, with Indy in hand, at the beach sculpture “Los Dedos” before heading up into the hills near Rocha on a six-day horse trek. Camping by horse, said Crease, was the perfect way to see the countryside and experience nature at a slow, peaceful pace, including the stars hanging upside down in the Southern Hemisphere sky.
