La Raza Helping People

La Casa de la Raza is a bilingual, multi-service nonprofit that has been serving the Latino community by promoting self-sufficiency and leadership. There are many services provided at la Caza de la Raza to the community such as, Social Services, Immigration & Naturalization Services, Community Education, etc. All these programs and services focus on helping families, particularly women and children, secure the basics for a healthy life, which includes having a livable income, staying housed, having sufficient food, and having the tools and resources to empower themselves.

One of our most successful and important services, the Immigration service at La Raza offers low-cost services to both documented and undocumented immigrants in Santa Barbara. It provide a safe, confidential, bilingual space for clients to gain support. It would be devastating if Casa de la Raza close its doors to the community.
