Last week, Sheriff’s detectives served a search warrant in the 700 block of Santa Maria’s North Mary Street. They were searching for 30-year-old Nicholas McCloud, who had an active no-bail warrant for his arrest after allegedly removing his electronic monitor during probation. When police arrived, McCloud made a run for it, but he was detained and booked into County Jail.
Tameaka Lewis, 37, was also located during the search. Lewis had an outstanding warrant for narcotics in Santa Barbara, as well as a $100,000 bail warrant out of Kern County. She was booked into County Jail.
Detectives then took their search to a home in the 2000 block of Lockwood Lane in Santa Maria, where they had learned Gabriel Olivas, Jr. —who was wanted for a previous weapons violation — was staying. Three suspects were arrested on-site for an array of methamphetamine and marijuana charges: Olivas, 31; John Terrones, 52; and Ronnie Ruelas, 47.
The bust was a joint effort, consisting of officers from the Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau, the Compliance Response Team (CRT), and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Parole agents.
