As firefighters have all but extinguished the Pine Fire, located in the Sespe Wilderness north of Ojai, Los Padres National Forest officials have lifted the temporary closures of Grade Valley Road, Reyes Creek Campground, Piedra Blanca Trailhead, Fishbowls Trial, and Cedar Creek Trail to its junction with Pine Mountain Lodge.
Closures are still in effect for Pine Mountain Road from its junction with Hwy 33 to the Reyes Peak Trail, Reyes Peak Trail, and the Gene Marshall Piedra Blanca National Recreation Trail between the Pine Mountain Lodge and Upper Reyes Creek campsites. The Pine Fire is 93 percent contained; full containment is expected on July 17.
