Caltrans reports one lane of 101 northbound is moving past La Conchita slide area.
[ORIGINAL STORY]
The hillside at La Conchita began to slide around 1:40 p.m., reported the CHP. With three feet of mud blocking the lanes, the northbound 101 has been closed at Sea Cliff until it can be cleared by Caltrans crews. All traffic is being redirected southbound. There’s no time estimate for reopening as yet.
