Preparing to “embark on a mission to make Sonos a household name for music lovers worldwide,” Santa Barbara-based Sonos, Inc. announced on 6/18 that it had hired Phil Abram, a former VP at Sony Electronics, to fill the newly created position of president and chief operating officer. Sonos bills itself as the first wireless, multi-room digital music system.
