The Arts Fund is excited to announce the opening reception of the 2019 Teen Arts Mentorship Exhibition on Friday, September 20th from 5-8pm at The Arts Fund Community Gallery, during The Arts Fund’s Funk Zone Art Walk™.
Refreshments will be available! The show will remain on view until October 18th. Regular gallery hours are Thursday-Sunday from 12-5pm. The exhibition and reception is FREE and open to the public.
TAME will feature work from 20 young artists from South Santa Barbara County that have participated in The Arts Fund’s 2019 Teen Arts Mentorship Program workshops, including “Self Expression through Painting” with Demi Bolsteri, “Fine Art As A Career Choice: Oil Painting” with Yuliya Lennon, “Printmaking; Activism!” with Barbara Leung Larson, “Alternative Process Photography” with Joyce Wilson, and “What’s Next? College and Career Prep” with Jamie Dufek.
These artists and students represent a range of schools throughout South Santa Barbara County, including Laguna Blanca, Dos Pueblos High, Santa Barbara High, Santa Barbara Middle School, San Marcos High, Bishop Diego, and Carpinteria Middle School.
