Top 10 of 10, Season of Getting, and Getting Genii in Bottle

Three new blog posts appropriate to the season

We’ve got three new(ish) blog posts up which fit well in our last few days of 2008 and the first few of 2009.

Jerry Roberts examines (and offers) a look at the top ten of other Top Tens for year end, called “The Top Ten of Top Tens,” surprisingly enough. His blog is called Capitol Letters, if you haven’t seen it before, and usually covers California state politics.

Cat Neushal, in “The Season Of Getting.” takes up a familiar struggle in dealing with giving and getting. It’s part of her education column School Whys.

And Elizabeth Menzies, in her Sober Spitbath column on the life of recovery, shares a tale of how early encounters with the bottle are somewhat less than magical, in “How the Genii Went Into the Bottle.
