There’s Got to Be a Morning Drink After

Perhaps Valentine’s Day goes better than you might have ever hoped. So now it’s the morning of February 15 : How can you keep that romance going? Our friends at First Blush juice have an idea with the all-too-aptly named First Blush Wake-Up Kiss. In a blender (so only do this if you’re both hangover-free, otherwise the grinding noise might preclude any further amorousness) combine one cup of First Blush grape juice (either Cabernet or Merlot), three-quarters cup soymilk or regular low-fat milk, two ice cubes, one large banana, peeled and broken into chunks, and two to four optional tablespoons of protein powder. Blend it on high speed for 30 seconds. Pour it into two tall glasses and serve. If things didn’t go well, you can make up the Endless Blush Walk of Shame drink on your own, although it might require something stronger than juice.
