Media 7-24

More than 70 people-including representatives from the cities of Santa Barbara and Goleta, County Fire, and the Forest Service-gathered at the downtown public library on 7/21 to discuss how the government and media could better serve the public during a disaster. Hosted by Edhat.com, the brainstorming session had attendees bemoaning the lack of radio and television coverage, the absence of Spanish updates, and the need for more accurate maps.
