Yahoo!Duran Duran announced today that they are kicking off their 22-date Red Carpet Massacre North American Tour in Vancouver, Canada on Tuesday, April 29. They’ve also announced a stop in Santa Barbara, slated for Saturday, May 3 at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
For the past three decades, Duran Duran has been at the forefront of popular music, releasing 12 records since their self-titled debut dropped in 1981. The band has sold over 70 million albums and recorded a multitude of hits. They have also won five Lifetime Achievement awards since 2002, including an MTV Video Music Award, and accolades from Q Magazine, The BRITS, Ivor Novello, and Spanish Ondas.
