Concert for a Cause

SOhO Restaurant & Music Club (1221 State St.) will host a special night of music benefiting S.B.’s Glendon Association on Sunday, October 12, at 8 p.m. Jill Sobule, Lili Haydn, and Jonathan McEuen will perform an acoustic concert “in the round,” a southern tradition where a small group of musicians shares the stage, takes turns playing songs acoustically, and at times improvising and collaborating. Admission to the concert is a $50 contribution to the Glendon Association, a nonprofit, which will help underwrite the cost of Glendon’s annual Violence and Suicide Prevention Forums. In addition to the forums, Glendon provides to the community extensive year-round resources, including consulting, lectures, and workshops for the general public. Call 962-7776 or visit for more info.
