Caltrans has completed a project to widen the northbound Highway 101 on-ramp at Carrillo Street. Crews additionally also installed a ramp meter and a live traffic camera that offers images of traffic conditions on the nearby stretch of Highway 101. The project, financed in association with the City of Santa Barbara and the County Association of Governments, cost $2.9 million and was funded through regional gas-tax dollars.
