Starting Saturday, August 8, at 10 a.m., single-event tickets for UCSB Arts & Lectures’ 50th anniversary season will be made available to the public. The landmark season includes performances from NPR’s Wait, Wait : Don’t Tell Me!, songstress Aimee Mann, Yo-Yo Ma, and many others. HORSE OF A DIFFERENT COLOR

Los Olivos’s Wildling Art Museum is accepting submissions for its horse-themed photography competition. Santa Barbara County residents of all ages and skill levels are instructed to send entries either digitally or in-person by Wednesday, September 2, at 5 p.m. Visit wildlingmuseum.org for entry forms and contest details.
