Shopping for a bargain? Head up to Isla Vista this weekend for the annual I.V. GIVE (Great Isla Vista Extravaganza) Sale, where all items on the table will have been donated by hundreds of UCSB students who are moving out of our county’s infamous unincorporated enclave for the summer.

Browse couches, assorted furniture, clothing, household items, books, electronics, small appliances, and other miscellaneous items while you’re there, most of which are priced at less than $25. And while you’re doing so, you can know you’re helping a great cause — organizers of the GIVE Sale donate proceeds from the event to local nonprofits and I.V. community projects.

The sale runs Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., in the parking lot of UCSB’s Embarcadero Hall, 935 Embarcadero del Mar, Isla Vista. Call 893-4979 for more info.
