Kids Helping Kids Benefit 5K and Family Fun Mile

Proceeds From December 12 Inaugural Event Go to Unity Shoppe

Come join us for the 1st ever Kids Helping Kids Benefit 5K and Family Fun Mile at the beautiful Elings Park on December 12 starting at 9am!

This special event features a 5-kilometer race atop the park’s bluffs overlooking Santa Barbara’s ocean and surrounding valleys, and a Family Fun Mile catering to all, from the elite runners to the dog-walkers of the community.

The cost of the 5K and the Family fun Mile are $20 and $10 respectively.

Tickets to the Kids Helping Kids Gala on January 8, 2011, featuring Tyrone Wells and Mat Kearney, will be awarded to the top three females and males for each race. First-place finishers will also receive a meet-and-greet with the artists preceding the concert.

All proceeds will go to Kids Helping Kids, a non-profit organization run by San Marcos’s AP Economics Class, named by the Unity Shoppe as one of their largest single contributors last year.

For information, online registration, and race times, visit our website. Hope to see you there!
