Learn How to Change Over to Solar Power

With the fog receding and the big fireball burning hot in the summer sky, it’s the perfect time to look into overhauling your energy source and switching to solar power. To help you get started, the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History is hosting Solar SUNday, a day devoted to learning the basics of solar energy, new technologies, and how to finance your energy conversion. There will also be more than 20 “green” vendors, as well as entertaining activities for kids and adults. Sunday, July 25, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., S.B. Museum of Natural History, 2559 Puesta del Sol Road. Free. For more info, call 682-4711 or visit
