This Sunday, June 27, a collection of one-of-a-kind bowls designed by numerous local artists will be auctioned off as part of a fundraiser to help save Ojai’s Libbey Bowl. The Santa Barbara Center for the Performing Arts recently announced the appointment of the Granada’s new executive director Dr. Craig M. Springer. Springer beat out more than 100 applicants for the job and has formerly held positions at USC, Northwestern University, and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts.


From now through August 7, the Santa Barbara Public Library System (the Central Branch is located at 40 E. Anapamu St.) will host its annual Summer Reading Program for kids and teens.
