On Wednesday 12/1 you can shop for copper pots at Williams and Sonoma and take your kids to channel their inner Maccabi all in the same location. Chabad of Santa Barbara and Beit HaYeladim Preschool will be hosting their annual Chanukah in the Mall Festival at La Cumbre Plaza. The event begins at 5:30 P.M. and takes place near Macy’s. It will feature the lighting of a giant ice sculpture menorah. There will also be a home-made menorah contest which will be judged by the most powerful Jew in Santa Barbara, mayor Helene Schneider. Contest rules available at www.sbchabad.org.
