Pancake Day

Is there a better way to start the day than with a yummy breakfast? How about if it’s free? And pancakes? Since 2006, the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) has offered a free short stack of buttermilk flapjacks to any and all who come to IHOP restaurants on National Pancake Day. The company uses this event to gather donations that then go to a chosen nonprofit; monies received locally will go help children in the Goleta/Santa Barbara community. IHOP has raised more than $10 million in the past six years. The feasting takes place on Tuesday, February 5, 7 a.m.-10 p.m., at all participating IHOP locations.
