I think that narrowing the shipping lanes through Santa Barbara is a good idea. I think that if more whales die because of being hit by ships, it would be very bad. Whales are very important animals to our ecosystem. I liked your article, but I need more data to understand it. – Jace Wright, S.B.

I am writing to you because there are too many ads everywhere. Not just on one page, on so many, almost every page of everything – magazines, windows. It’s so annoying. I hate ads, and commercials, too, but that’s off-subject. You either should put all the ads on one or two pages, or get rid of them. They are so agitating. – Dylan Nebeker
