Mayor Declares Teen Coalition Day

Mayor Helene Schneider pronounced 7/23 Teen Coalition Day as Santa Barbara hosted the quarterly conference of the Southern California Teen Coalition where service providers coordinate and exchange ideas. Junior lifeguard Foster Campbell spoke on both his program and the Keiki Paddle, an annual fundraiser organized by teenagers to benefit someone with a life-threatening illness. The Santa Barbara Teen Coalition will host a Professional Development Conference for service providers August 19-20 at the Louise Lowry Davis Center.
