Dos Pueblos Robot Team Wins Regional

The Dos Pueblos High School Engineering Academy, alternately known as the D’Penguineers and Team 1717, swept the competition at the L.A. regional FIRST Robotics Competition in Long Beach this past weekend. The team’s entry, Penguin Bot VIII, excelled at this year’s challenge, called Ultimate Ascent, which included throwing Frisbees into goals and climbing a pyramid. The champions will next head to the Las Vegas regionals on the weekend of 4/4.
