City of Solvang and Solvang Chamber of Commerce to Issue Inaugural “Solvang Business & Relocation Guide”, Urging Residents and Businesses to “Keep it Local”

Solvang Chamber Currently Accepting Advertisers for First Edition of New Guide, with Distribution to More than 2,600 Local Households and Businesses

The premiere issue of the new “Solvang Business & Relocation Guide” is now officially in the works. The joint venture project, a collaborative effort by the City of Solvang and the Solvang Chamber of Commerce, will be released in June 2014, and will see distribution to more than 2,000 Solvang households and over 600 local businesses, as well as placement in real estate offices, hotel lobbies, City of Solvang Relocation Packages, and Solvang Chamber of Commerce New Member Packets.

“This new Guide offers a unique opportunity for Solvang businesses to expand their reach to new residents, existing locals and other new businesses, by showcasing all that Solvang has to offer, and all that is locally available,” said Sue Moualim, Executive Director of the Solvang Chamber of Commerce.

The 2014-15 Solvang Business & Relocation Guide will include a listing of all Solvang businesses, and an interactive digital version of the Guide will be available on both the City and the Chamber web sites, with clickable links to every advertised business.

Solvang Chamber of Commerce and Solvang Third Wednesday members will automatically receive highlighted listings in the new Guide, which will also include informational, editorial sections covering Economic Development, Regional Statistics, Solvang Demographics, Government Officials, Solvang Chamber Facts, Frequently Called Numbers, and Business Resources.

Moualim added, “This Guide will give local businesses great exposure, and will be a valuable resource for people just moving here, and/or relocating their businesses to Solvang.”

The Guide is currently open to additional advertisers, with multiple levels of paid advertising options available – from just $50.00 for an enhanced text listing for Chamber members and Solvang residents and/or businesses, to premium placement on the inside of the Guide’s front or back covers. Advertising space is limited, and space and location reservations will be confirmed on a “first come, first served” basis. All ad space reservations and materials are due March 15, 2014.
