Economic Terrorists?

They call themselves “Water Guardians,” but are they really economic terrorists? The proponents of Measure P are spreading falsehoods to scare people into believing the oil industry is bad. They want to ban the industry from any future production using just pure steam. The fact is the oil industry is one of the most regulated for clean, safe, and healthy production by the federal, state, and local governments.

The first major deception they are pushing is that huge amounts of water are being diverted from the public. What they are not telling people is that the only water being used is wastewater not fit for human consumption. It also does not affect any agricultural, commercial, or industrial water resources. Most of the wastewater comes from local water sanitation companies. The other source is deep underground where only very salty water is located. This wastewater needs to be treated even before they can use it.

If Measure P passes, it will cost the public millions and millions in lost revenue and litigation. Vote No on Measure P.
