Suspect Wanted for Attempted Sex Assault in Isla Vista


Sheriff’s officials are looking for a college-aged man who attempted a sexual assault at about 11:05 p.m. on Saturday on the 6700 block of Sabado Tarde in Isla Vista. According to UCSB’s community alert system, the suspect was described as a 5-foot, 7-inch white man with short auburn hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants and was last seen on Del Playa Drive. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can contact the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 805-681-4171.
