One of the better discuscussions of McClellan's book I have read or heard. In the 6th paragraph,he highlights the sadness of disillusionment with someone he held in high regard, rather than the bitterness and betrayal too many have accused him of. Rather, it was McClellan and the American people who were betrayed. An article in the New York Times, "The Bush Who Got Away," also discussed disappointment with GW's abandonment of higher ideals expressed during his 2002 campaign, especially his promise to use America's power with restraint.
