I am glad KCSB is congratulating themselves. They were resourceful, but though they got back on the air they only intermittently gave fire news. Those of us without power were on battery and used the radio off and on. The Blues is not fire news. If I wanted music I could have used a battery operated MP3 player. You should have preempted all music and just kept repeating whatever information you had.

On Gap Fire: Scenes from the End of the World

The only decent information on the fire for those of us who were evacuated was The Independent! KEYT should be ashamed of itself. They need to stop telling people to go to their web site for current information. Their web site is useless! As for the News Press, their policies are the reason I dropped the paper. When the power was out, using a battery operated radio and getting the blues, or spanish music, or Delilah was not exactly any kind of help.I am giving the Santa Barbara Sound a pass because they are new and do not have things totally organized yet. Once we were evacuated, The Independent was the only timely source of information! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
