General of Japan in Los Angeles, will be presenting a lecture on
“Japanese
Foreign Policy in East Asia”
Thursday, February 22, at noon at
room 2252 in UCSB’s Humanities and Social Sciences Building. While
still dealing with the remnants of the Cold War, Japan and East
Asian countries are creating a dynamic space, generating both
opportunities and challenges regionally and internationally. Dr.
Kohara’s lecture will focus Japan’s future foreign policy goals and
how it can viably achieve them, as well as the future of the
US-Japan relationship.
