Itchin’ for a little Latin-inspired pre-Fiesta fun? Head out to any of the Cinco de Mayo events this weekend and disfruta la marcha incre-ble:

• Plaza de la Guerra and Casa de la Guerra will be home to Santa Barbara’s biggest Cinco de Mayo Festival this weekend, complete with Mexican food, dancing, music, and a kid’s corner. Saturday, May 5, 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 6, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Call 965-8561 or visit cincodemayosb.com.

• Armed with his Spanish guitar and a world-class band of musicians, Roni Benise takes SOhO by storm for a special Cinco de Mayo concert. Saturday, May 5, 9 p.m. Call 962-7776.

• This month’s 1st Thursday event on Thursday, May 3, celebrates all things Mexican with Visions of Mexico, a digital presentation by photographer and Brooks Institute professor Chuck Place. There will also be Latin-inspired visual art at the Channing Peake Gallery and a Mexican ballet performed by Ballet Folkl³rico Alma De Mexico at De la Guerra and State streets.
