McCaw Responds to L.A. Times Column

On 5/27 Wendy McCaw fired back against Lou Cannon’s L.A. Times column with an editorial of her own. Cannon’s piece, which ran in the Times on 5/13, defended former NP staff – including editor Jerry Roberts – and outlined the paper’s now yearlong battle with its employees. McCaw – whose article ran in Sunday’s News-Press – claims to have asked the Times to run her rebuttal, but was denied.
