Santa Barbara hosted the Coastal Cities Issue Group subcommittee of the League of California Cities on 5/30. Discussion focused on Assembly Bill 1338, which requires a coastal government to go in front of the California Coastal Commission before having a stream water pollution permit issued by the Regional Water Quality Control Board. No action was taken, but the plan will be discussed at upcoming League meetings.
