Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger praised Santa Maria resident Shawn Dressler, who died during a combat operation in Baghdad on 6/2 after an improvised explosive device detonated beside his vehicle. “Shawn served with determination and bravery, making the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and democracy,” said Schwarzenegger of Dressler, who is survived by his parents and sister in Santa Maria.
