Armstrong Attacks Goleta Chamber of Commerce

Goleta Chamber of Commerce President Kristen Amyx accused News-Press editorial editor Travis Armstrong of being “angry and very threatening” during a phone call he made demanding to know why the chamber had cancelled its subscription to the News-Press. Amyx said that she and Armstrong had been cordial and friendly prior to the call, but added that the News-Press was cancelled because there weren’t enough articles about Goleta business.
