Focus: Owner Jack Mohr, born and formally trained in Germany, assembles international artists to paint in a uniquely Californian and modern style. European, Asian, and American artists strive to represent a state most commonly documented in landscapes in an urban, challenging, and blatantly non-decorative manner. Mohr expresses this art as “finally something else;” a new vision of California manifested mainly in paintings, but additionally in sculpture, lithographs, and etchings from the Hannah Merians Estate. The ultimate artistic goal is abstraction that is typically Californian.

Upcoming Exhibitions: Summer art rotates approximately every two weeks, usually by color themes.
