Three major traffic accidents on or near Cliff Drive have left one woman dead, and many concerned residents wondering about traffic safety on Santa Barbara roads. On 6/17, a 72-year-old woman was killed when her car was hit as she pulled out of a subdivision. The previous day, a car driven by a 62-year-old veered off the road and crashed into the bedroom of a house at 1310 Cliff Dr. On 6/18, a small pickup entering Meigs Road near McDonald’s struck a motorcyclist on the right side, breaking the motorcyclist’s leg.
