Carp Bar Patron Busted for Dealing Coke
Had Sold at Two Area Establishments
After receiving complaints from patrons at two local bars Sheriff’s Detectives investigated and then arrested a Port Hueneme man for allegedly dealing cocaine at the two establishments. Detectives arrested Noe Renteria, 37, at the Palms Bar and Restaurant Tuesday, where he had $500 cash and nearly an ounce of cocaine individually packaged in his possession. Visitors to the Palms as well as Moondoggies had been complaining he had been openly dealing drugs.
Detectives also searched the man’s home in Port Hueneme, but they found no other evidence there, according to Sgt. Erik Raney. Renteria was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail for transportation and possession of narcotics for sales.
