A fire broke out in the Santa Ynez Valley on 11/3, near Highway 246 in the Santa Rita Hills. Fire crews responded quickly, utilizing engines, a bulldozer, and a helicopter with water from the ocean. The fire was quickly quelled, leaving a small patch of charred vegetation.
