The Santa Barbara campus of Antioch University announced on 1/18 that the California Wellness Foundation has awarded it a $265,000 grant that will fund a new Latino Mental Health program that aims to bolster the ranks of bilingual mental health providers. Specifically, money will go to recruiting Spanish speakers, hiring instructors especially for the new program, and aiding students trying to find placement in the Santa Barbara community for further training.
