Cruisin’ Cars

Polish up your ride and drive it up to the Sixth Annual Show and Shine Car Show on Saturday, July 12, at Ryon Park (Ocean Ave. & O St.) in Lompoc. Sponsored by the Lompoc High School Alumni Association, the event features awards in 26 categories-including muscle cars, pre-1930s stock, hot rods, low riders, and trucks-as well as the Best in Show. Throughout the day, there will be raffles, a 50/50 drawing, a BBQ, and the opportunity to donate blood at the Blood Mobile. Admission is free. On Friday, July 11, from 5-7:30 p.m., there will be a cruise through downtown Lompoc.
