It’s time to bring the knitting needles out of the living rooms and onto the streets, with the fourth annual World Wide Knit in Public Day. Loop & Leaf (536 Brinkerhoff Ave.) will be hosting this magical day, with a book-signing by Joan Tapper, author of Shear Spirit, tea and truffle tasting courtesy of Jessica Foster Confections, trunk shows, demonstrations, prizes, and live music from Evernever. As a special treat, pet animals and fiber from Alpacas from Cuzco North, an alpaca farm in Santa Ynez, for an up-close look at where our materials come from!
