This brilliant three-person play, directed by James O’Neil, pivots upon the return of a baby boomer to her childhood home, a home in which her mother is still trying to do her live-in adult son’s laundry. As the siblings quibble and attempt to reinvent their histories, they slowly confront each other’s limits, strengths, and their mother’s mortality. Through the teasing voice of David Rambo and hilarious antics of the trio, the trials of the “me” generation are exposed. Playing at the Rubicon Theatre (1006 E. Main St., Ventura); tickets range from $20-$52. Call 667-2900 for more info.
