On Saturday, January 31, Cari Thomas, a genealogist and SBCC Adult Education instructor, will teach a class on how to track down your clan. Ancestry Library Edition, an online database available on computers in the S.B. Public Library System, is a massive collection of information including census, church, court, and immigration records from the United Kingdom, Canada, and the U.S. The workshop is free and open to the public. 10-11:30 a.m. in the Faulkner Gallery of the Santa Barbara Central Public Library, 40 E.
