The former PTA president of Vieja Valley Elementary School, Kendre Sanborn, was elected president of the Santa Barbara Area PTA Council last week. A mother of three-with one child in the Hope School District and two soon to enter the Santa Barbara School District-Sanborn will preside over the 15th District PTA, the overarching body that coordinates all PTA boards in the area. She replaces Paula Perotte.
