Earthquake Rattles Ojai

Natural disasters seem to abound on the South Coast this week, though thankfully not all of them as dire as the Jesusita Fire. As an inferno ravaged Santa Barbara’s front country, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake hit near Ojai at 1:30 this afternoon. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the epicenter was four miles east of the town. There have been no reports on damage thus far.
