Comedy Events Abound in S.B. This Week
Need a good laugh? This week, Santa Barbara’s comedy scene takes center stage with an influx of must-see stand-up events. The following are just a few of them:
• Dos Pueblos High School (7266 Alameda Ave., Goleta) hosts a Comedy Night Fundraiser on Friday, February 19, at 7:30 p.m., headlined by alum Josh Duvendeck. Proceeds benefit educational programs at the school. $8-$10. Call 968-2541.
• Improvability, UCSB’s premier stand-up comedy troupe, performs its weekly Friday improv show on Friday, February 19, at 8 p.m., at Embarcadero Hall (935 Embarcadero del Norte, Isla Vista). $3-$5. Call 968-2541.
