In conjunction with 10 other UC campus movements, UCSB’s Coalition of University Employees (CUE) announced on 5/24 that it has officially joined the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Dawn Hobbs, a former News-Press reporter who was fired for union organizing and is still seeking reinstatement, helped the Teamsters organize members at the university.
