Naples Developer on Road to Building

Despite recently defaulting on the multimillion-dollar loans that made his purchase of the Naples property possible more than a decade ago, still-hopeful Naples developer Matt Osgood is taking his first steps down the road toward building out one of the six lots he still enjoys full ownership over. A preliminary hearing at the Santa Barbara County’s Central Board of Architectural Review (CBAR) for the potential development of Naples lot 45—located on the ocean side of Highway 101—was rescheduled last week at Osgood’s request. The matter is slated to return at the July 9 CBAR meeting.
